JOB SUMMARY:
The Systems Administrator will administer the firm's systems, networks and processes under the direction of the Manager of IT. The Administrator is responsible for daily administration, planning, installation, maintenance and support of all systems related to technology. The Administrator will exercise independent judgment and discretion in the performance of daily activities. The Systems Administrator is required to work with the IT manager members and end-users to enrich the customer experience.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Installation, support and maintenance of the warehouse's computers, network, servers, printers, software, IoT, and telephone system. This can include physically moving equipment. Create and maintain documentation
• Provide direct support for Office 365, creating and deleting users and providing help desk support for Outlook, Excel and Word
• Maintain users in IBM AIX and Windows Active directory along with other systems
• Maintain and set up Windows Desktops and Servers
• Patch Windows desktops and servers using WSUS
• Microsoft Group Policy maintenance
• Server setup/maintenance using VMware
• Endpoint security maintenance
• Rocket Universe Database maintenance and reporting
• Uploading/downloading files for different vendors and customers
• Networking/Firewall changes
• Toshiba phone system maintenance
• DR/Backup responsibilities using Veeam
• SAN maintenance
• Network security through employee education, monitoring and testing
• Monitoring/maintain power backup solutions including UPS' and generator
• Galaxy Access Control System maintenance and other department specific applications such as Nutracoster, Seagull Bartender, Docuware, Intelliware Temp-Track
• Maintain tablets we use in our trucks for E-Logs
• Develop and communicate policies and procedures for routine operations, backup, troubleshooting and outage and disaster planning for the computers and network
• Help to establish appropriate policies for technology use


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Expertise with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience with managing and deploying network switches, routers and firewalls
• Ability to train end-users on technology systems
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work closely with a culturally diverse group of people
• Proven ability to evaluate, plan and implement strategic technology projects
• Ability to prioritize, delegate and manage projects and tasks with minimum oversight
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills


The ideal candidate will have these additional qualifications:
• Ability to write and maintain queries in SQL
• Ability to program in Rocket Universe Basic
• System admin understanding of IBM Power I and IBM AIX
• Experience with programming in C#, Python, VBScript, PowerShell and/or similar languages
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript


EXPERIENCE:
• Microsoft Office: 5 years (Required)
• Windows: 5 years (Required)
• Microsoft Windows Server: 5 years (Required)
• Network: 5 years (Required)
• SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
